Location Fallout 4 Legendary Armor Effects I figured I'd go back to the auto save and try again. It dropped an armor piece, but not Chameleon. I just went into college square for Rhys (the repeatable quests) and I spotted a legendary right at the start. I'd think that since companions go hostile when they see an enemy that it won't really matter at all. I guess the only way to find out would be to shadow them all up or give them chameleon armor and then take them along and see if you notice a difference.
